Can someone who read the raws explain how they got into that situation? I remember seth not reciprocating
Bastet has been trying her best to cockblock them after seeing the writing on the wall. Lions chase them towards a temple that used to be used for coming of age ceremonies for humans. Horus and Set get trapped in there. Bastet hears who she thinks is Osiris, offering to help her out. We don't see who she's talking to.
In the temple, Set hallucinates a woman that looks like Nepthys. She tries to entice him but he's only concerned about where Horus went. Meanwhile, Horus is trapped with Nepthys who is trying to guilt trip him but he only wants to get back to Seth and knows it's not really her.
I think both hallucinations were by Bastet? Also, Seth keeps smelling something that's familiar yet unfamiliar that's making him low key horny and it turns out it's Horus. He smells this when the Nepthys hallucination is with him and he gets a boner.
The author's writing is rlly weird. Their old story "story of our lives" used to one of my favorites, good plot and 3 dimensional characters. Then my suha came out and it was ok at the start until suha became SO annoying and turned into the innocent dumb bratty bottom type. The whole plot got so dumb and nsfw centered that i dropped it. (+ not to mention the TIRING normalized dub con). Then the side story came out and that redhead who was the villain and a borderline rapist actually gets some real good writing inserted into his characterisation. He gets his whole life lifted upside down, a taste of his own medicine and for once considers that he was a shit person and realizes he doesnt deserve kindness, he has to earn it. That was some phenomenal writing. His reactions, the consequences to his actions, who he became, the closeness he started craving. All very good. Got me thinking the writer changed or something. That ended, now suha is back in the main story and the author STILL doesn't know what to do with him. He makes him suck his boyfriends dick after he repeatedly tells him to stop like that trope is sooo tired. Not to mention what suha went through, the emotional and sexual blackmail. I just feel like if the author wanted to showcase the consequences of that, they should do it with more care, less nsfw, less stupid yaoi non con tropes and less boring misunderstandings. What happened to the writinggg
