This is a first for me, but I really liked the uke, I found him truly endearing.
About the story, I love the setting, about martial arts and demonic sects that I can usually only read about from novels, so it was a pleasure to read this in the form of a manhua/manhwa.
The grooming part hardly presented itself to me since the ML only started developing romantic feelings for the MC after realizing that he was an adult, he was 20 yo at the time.
For the rest, some of the most problematic plot points are very frequent mechanics in BL, and since this is just a fiction solely aimed for entertainment purposes, it hardly occurs to me to shun or despise it.
However, I've recently read my fair share of brain-dead plots, that would give the impression to suck up the remaining of my brain cells, but with as high of a rating as 9.4 and more. But, my god, how boring they where... though I assure you they weren't "problematic"
Thus, I came to enjoy the "problematic" stuff a bit more, since, compared to those mentioned previously, these at least have a bit more substance.
