Then, after reading the comments, I discovered there's also the ol' rape trope, so I though why even bother going through this shit for that end... :'))

I like this author but I can't really appreciate this work of theirs, sadly.
I don't really like it when either partner starts off with a fuck buddy.
And I'm just fed up with the trope of the disillusioned uke who indulges in sex to forget his past trauma/lover who betrayed him... etc. and then gets "healed" by his true love. Something a little bit more original, please.

Idk why, this feels so sad. It's hard to compromise on such things. Even if you do, regretting such decisions later on, you would often end up blaming the other, and destroying the couple anyway.
