I don’t know why but I just do not like the cat girl, I liked his two previous companions. I think it’s because she complains the most or does the least if that makes sense(like when mc had to kill those humans in the cabin idk why she can’t also contributes in the guilt and kills one of them since she also wanted them dead). It’s kinda disappointing because she has one of the best background in the story.

I agree that violence isn’t the solution for most issues but for this one it was, I don’t understand how the uke doesn’t think it is when he(and like many others have stated his sisters) was about to be raped and sold. And if violence isn’t the solution, what is the solution, as far as I know the uke hasn’t suggest any solution for the increasing gang issue that has been going on for YEARS that resulted in stores closing. I’m a little conflicted on the uncle against the dad situation, at first I was cheering the uncle on(and still kinda am) but as of right now it’s being heavily hinted at that the dad might be controlled by the Japanese team and readers knows this but the mc doesn’t so it causes this situation we’re the uncle says/does all this crap about the dad(which from his viewpoint and many others is justifiable) but from a readers standpoint it’s kinda feels like bashing a victim.

I know what you mean too out of everyone most definitely the daughter is the most hurt. That’s one of the main reasons I like about this manhwa, the uncle niece relationship, I do really like the bond they have and how the uncle is doing everything he can to make it up to her after his regression
You see the thing is... being a "victim" doesn't give you a free pass to hurt others. Knowing he was brainwashed doesn't erase all the shee he did and doesn't magically heal those who've been hurt.
Also from what I know... she only managed to do it cuz he chose to deal with his grief from loosing his wife by whoring around so on that ponit I disagree about him being rped...

Brainwashed in fantasy stories means they are not in control. They cannot consent. They are not responsible for what they do because it is similar to possession.
And your comments about him being a whore and how it doesn't mean he was raped is completely off target. Based on his background in the story he was completely devoted to his wife even after she died. That woman brainwashed him and controls him and she uses sex (which he cannot consent to) as the method to do it.
And for another, it doesn't even matter if he was a whore. Prostitutes can be raped too. Consent matters.
You didn't get what I meant? Maybe I was given wrong spoilers. Because as I was told he was devoted till her death. And dealt with his grief by sleeping around. Before that no one had a chance to brainwash him. He was brainwashed through sx... but the sx came before the brainwashing. And it was also said somewhere that she had a hard time brainwashing him because of his strong mentality, so he very probably bedded her at least a couple times before he had "no choice".
While I do agree consent matters and prostitutes can be victims too he was not a prostitute. If you need a comparison involving sx it would rather be a promiscuous guy going around doing anyone raw, catching some std and getting sick. He is sick? Yes. Needs help? Yes. But unfortunately it's a consequence of his past choices. Not victim blaming is as important as accountability. Liking or not we do judge people differently. No one looks the same way as someone who's paraplegic from being his by a drunk driver and a drunk drives who got paraplegic after hitting someone while drunk. He certainly didn't "consent" to causing an accident, but it is a consequence of his choices.
