Honestly I feel like the author could ease up on the abuse a little bit even tho that’s sort of the story so far and part of Jaekyung’s character. Ive already seen a few people drop the story because he hasn’t been showing any meaningful progress and it doesn’t get any easier watching Dan be constantly treated like dirt when he’s so sweet. I get the point that he’s supposed to be a huge jerk but when is it gonna be enough ya know? Like we understand his character fully and we’ve gotten so far just for barely any progress. At least just idk make him speak nicer to him or something ffs

Do killers deserve to be happy? In this sense….i think so. He feels guilt and remorse and was mentally and emotionally and socially stunted all through life and the only thing he knew was killing but is still a good person and would accept punishment if it was given to him. Does it make it even? I don’t think so but I feel like the victim’s family members would want someone that was so pained enough to take other’s lives find their own peace and happiness.
