I love that we get to see more of Yellow Dragon’s personality and he isn’t so one dimensional as he was portrayed up till now. We knew he was this soft spoken and gentle person who was considerate of others and strong morally and basically wanted to be Dojin’s backbone but we now see he is often shy and tends to worry too much and overthink situations and plays off of Dojin’s extrovert personality. I think he may also be burdened by his power like he knows what he’s capable of but he never signed up for it, you know? I think he’s still scared of how much his power may effect Dojin and how it could drive him away but Dojin loves and accepts all of him and sees him as a person and not just a god. It’s obvious that Yellow Dragon adores this part of him and how he notices little human details like his silky hair and broad chest.
agreed~~
i think it’s great that dojin is doing what he can to be a partner to yellow dragon. even tho dojin doesn’t remember his past lives, his love runs so deep and he wants them to be together as much as yellow dragon does. their love actually makes my heart full. they deserve to have a happy ending 。・゚・(ノД`)・゚・。
Some of the parts were really confusing and the scene changes were all over the place?? And I thought Ayame was his highschool bully but I guess he wasn’t....? Like maybe Shuu thought he was bullying him but really he was protecting him instead? I was waiting for Ayame to apologize for that or at least acknowledge how it made Shuu feel but it never happened or was even brought up. Ayame is so confusing too like he was being a total dick in the beginning of them working together like he was talking shit about his work and making fun of him for taking a pregnancy test but later he’s like “noooo but I’ve always loved him ” and Shuu didn’t really have like a solid reason why he liked him in the end like wtf I am confusion
Yes, he had two moms, which are shown at the end, but Shuu was never told this and somehow he spoke to her about AyameWAITA MINUTE I just noticed what you said before, he DID make fun of him from the pregnancy test, and basically told Shuu he was too good for Shuu to give him a son, like, bitch, that's so rude and super degrading, why would you tell that to someone you've always loved??? Now I hate this even more lmao
Ikr?! Like I was so over Ayame at that point like you can never be too careful with that stuff. Also I got that there was character development when Ayame was helping him understand their work and industry but I felt like it went too in depth and it didn’t really matter that much to the story...? And i never really understood how their whole job partnership worked like was it like a group project or like a separation for Omegas to keep them under control with their heats and shit? And what was the point of showing Ayame’s two moms anyway? I mean it was interesting to see that 2 women independently could have a child in the omegaverse but still
They were always treated as partners because they were in the same project thus partners of work, Ayame didn't bit Shuu because he wants him to remind free and himself and not to feel attached to him just for the bond. Yes, he was a little douche at the beginning but he's also a tsundere (I know this doesn't justify anything but is basically what it is), he was very against his feelings and also thought Shuu was in love with his brother! so his attitude was also caused for jealousy.
You can see when Shuu is reflecting of his past with Ayame that things weren't as he had thought or as his memory made him remember them. Ayama wasn't bullying him nor was him wasn't his life miserable, he thought like it because Ayame was always so over him so that irritated him and he only wanted to be in peace, but in reality Ayame always helped him in the shadows as he was the first one who helped him when he went into heath. The partnerships aren't that deep, really, they needed to make a project and the best one would win, they partnered Shuu with Ayame because Ayame can't be affected by omega's pheromones, if he was just a normal alpha he wouldn't have been partnered with Shuu. And the point of showing his two moms was for the same reason parents are showed in any BL manga? Just because? You know, both mothers are alpha iirc and both are the owners of the company.
OooOoOoh ok it makes sense now omg Thankyou I feel like I needed a cliff notes with this whole series like I picked up on some of those parts but there were too many loose ends in the story that they were so distracting. Like I got that it showed that Ayame wasn’t actually mean to him in school but I thought it was Ayame reflecting and not Shuu so he was still under the impression that he was bullied by Ayame. I get that Ayame was picked as his partner bc of his tolerance but they were going in depth about what their partnership meant when we’re like bro it’s not that deep. Also Ayame wore suits to work bc he had a higher position right?
No, I meant romantic partners, that's why I said "chosen partners". Ayame's brother and mom referred to Shuu as such. And yeah, I did imagine why he didn't bite Shuu, my point was the panels and the continuity of the story make it confusing and it feels like a lot is skipped. It's not very good imo. And well, none of that makes Ayame less of a douche in my eyes, but at the end of the day I guess it's more like, my opinion, and many might love this instead. Thanks for letting me know your pov like a decent person lol cheers
I still don't get how 2 women can have a children. First time I saw that was in Sex Pistols (which is a weird manga but it's surprisingly really good at explaining these same sex child-bearing couples dynamics, even though it's pre-omegaverse? I think?) but they didn't get to (or I can't remember) explain how it works physically for them. I mean, the men is a more "obvious" process (you know what I mean) but how do women inject their seed that deep the uterus? x,D
It would be pretty interesting, maybe there's omegaverse yuri out there that treats the issue but I haven't gone that far lol if anyone knows about a title let me know.
don't worry, I understand is a little hard to follow up but the manga is mostly for Shuu's perspective so you know this is about him. I think that the serious tone of the work maybe has to be for how in Japan workplace is considered very sanctuary-ish if we can say it like that? like it was a talk to show how serious Ayame takes his work and iirc that's a very respected quality in Japan. Yup, he's a higher position but I thought the suits were just for the aesthetic lol, he really looks damn well in those!
I read this one in spanish first so I remember the spanish translator saying something like every time their mom/brother talked about partners and stuff it was about their shared project, I think it's just the tone that the author decided to use in these conversations that seems romantic, maybe their idea was to make certain parallels for their partnership at work and also the fact that both were developing a relationship. Don't worry! Not everyone will like the same thing so that's fine, I do thing author was ambitious and tried to cover a lot of things but at the end couldn't give them a proper closure to all of them. And lol, thanks! I was thinking if maybe I was being a little rude by giving my opinion, haha.
I'm sure every manga in the Omegaverse Project have a little explanation about how the Omegaverse world works in that specific story, don't know if this manga has that information but, there are omegaverse stories (and I'm sure this is one of this) in which female alphas can also impregnate omegas, I think their clitoris is the one who kind of transform into a penis? not a full penis tho, but just enough to knot an omega and impregnate them. I don't know if there are yuri authors already making omegaverse stories but I remember reading something about it? I do know that there are also heterosexual omegaverses but haven't been translated yet.
I noticed that Japan definitely has a very like respectful take on a work place environment and encourages teamwork between colleagues which is really interesting and helps a lot with productivity and Im sure helps make work a lot less painful lol and I think that’s a good point. It could also probably be Ayame feeling extra emotionally attached bc he’s working alongside his lover. Also was I the only one who wished Shuu would’ve kept trying to “destroy” him as a rival but ends up falling in love bc I mean that’s cute af. And I mean Ayame in suits was already a snack but I wondered if it was bc of his higher position in the company bc I guess the higher position you are, the more classier you dress? (Ngl I learned this from The Office when Jim was promoted to manager I noticed he started wearing suits and ties)
