Ima say this bc I read the previous comments about the rape scene and grooming and here’s my take on all of this (you can disagree ofc)
1. It never specified their ages. Yes Munetaka called Banri a “kid” but we don’t exactly know what he means by that (like if someone is just immature you’d call them a kid maybe) and it could just be a translation thing.
2. This is yaoi, aka manga, aka not real. The characters and settings are very dramatized and their relationship is super unrealistic but that’s the thing with BL and manga is that it’s for entertainment and not to be taken seriously. It’s a common trope in yaoi and BL for the seme to kind of seduce and forcibly come onto the uke but like I said it’s not real and played up for entertainment. I hope that makes sense.
3. If something like the seme technically committing rape or sexual assault/harassment is something you can’t handle in this type of manga, then don’t read it. Some people can be triggered or just don’t feel comfortable with it morally and that is completely valid so just avoid it if that’s the case.
4. Some people do enjoy this (myself included) so please don’t attack or harass those people in the comments.
