I wanna know if I should read this

honestly i think most people have taken the events in this out of context entirely is it not worth reading because of that NO read it and like it or read it and dislike it are both options i will say though that unlike most of the yuri or shojo ai manga on here this one is a tad on the darker side however it is not all that bad and honestly i think it is well written

There is no context that justifies that kind of attitude and relationship, at best it teaches people that if the person is pretty and you are lacking love on your life you have to endure everything. AT BEST.
Liz life was not even THAT hard that would justify her attitude.
And I think it's rather problematic to depict a relationship like that like ""'"romantic""", when it's clearly not, specially in japan where they do not see same sex relationship with good eyes, and have a historic of abusive mangas.
But you are right, the person should read and take his own conclusions. But she was asking opinions, and I gave mine.

Well stated. My issue isn't with the f*cked up relationship. It's that the author is writing in such a way to indicate they think it's "OK".
I have the same problem with the recent proliferation of pornwha's out there depicting rape as an "inconvenience" rather than the horrific, forever life altering crime that it is.
This kind of relationship bullshit is socially irresponsible. As a true liberal, I will literally fight for your right to create this kind of thing but I also have the right to call it out, as I'm doing now.

Exactlly. I don't have a problem with mangas depicting messed up relationships, as long as they are not romanticizing it, and they are treated as it should be treated: like problematic and something that you can and should run from.
Some years ago I stopped reading BL mangas exactly because of that, the majority of them had rape, and it was never addressed as rape and it always ended up with the abused part falling in love with the rapist. It drives me nuts, It's like it is okay to rape someone if you make them fall in love with you because of that. How "cute", Isn't it? Since them I resumed reading it, but I'm very selective
And it's the same with shoujo manga. But it's even worse because its public are young girls!!! It disturbes me

Just comes off as a girl twisted after a scar so deep from a first love she believed real, Japanese always have this once college starts one says. We need to stop playing this game, as if leading someone else on and treating them number one from what could be middle school. I prefer ones that fight to understand does colour, race, related and gender are an excuse to force yourself to not love a person.
But even though translation is slow, this Liz saw an easy girl maybe a feeling of her old self after her break up. Using her as a form to punish herself, as in one scene it looked, she had short butch hair and being younger may have had her girlfriend so similar things. To prevent her from leaving she has a verbal contract. I feel this will be a fight after her ex returns with a twist, they show she is in the country moving back. Being of power and influence. Liz may end up in a similar role. Were the main character grows to be able too save her.
Or it may go down a road of Liz hurting a person who cared truthfully for her. Meaning the role reversed. as im not sure about if their is a LN or anime. But it's hard that we know more of Liz, so I expect a detailed and lonely story for a person to sign a verbal contract just to ride along. She does have a go with the flow blank feel, after a bit with her heart cold. we don't even know if she has been with someone. No background.
This is a role of how people treat others based on their first experiences with love. Sh
uwoahhhhh this looks hectic... I luv it already~~
