I don’t know how to feel. I am loving this, and I really appreciate the story, the art, and the characters. It’s just sometimes hard for me to differentiate( in all things I read) what the story brings and what I really feel. I am too empathetic and often find myself in the stories... and this one is too good, but also breaks a thing for me. I can’t say I know how is to love a close blood sibling, but I can see the hardships... maybe I should not think too much and just enjoy it ^^? Have a nice day readers

my interpretation of the story is that Zachary decided to daydream, live in a world of fantasy and illusion where he and Hare could be together in love, he gave up on his own reason and logic in other to run away from Hare's refuse. Everything that happened in the story (the crazy actions of Hare) were ACTUALLY Zach's doings, he KNEW what he was doing was wrong and sick so in his own fantasy world he decided to blame Hare instead, ''he's crazy'' ''he's the psycho one who loves me'', maybe he wanted to Hare feel his pain too? So, in the end Zach commits suicide by jumping off the window and even in his death, he still din't gave up his illusion world that he and Hare were together

Uuuuh I think it was that irl, Zach had feelings for his stepbrother, Jason (Hare). While Jason tried to return his feelings, he couldn't stand up to the societal beliefs and chose to not pursue the relationship any longer. Jason chose to marry Hannah and had a child with her. This lead Zach to dream up his imagination of Jason, aka his ideal version of Jason, aka Hare. But Zach could only see Hare in his dreams leading him to take more and more sleeping pills, and why he ended up in the hospital.
Later in real life (where Jason only thought of Zach as a brother), Hannah was gang-raped and killed herself, Jason was convinced this was orchestrated by Zach, which kind of made Zach's mental state even worse. In his dream world, Hare also died, so when Zach came back to reality to end himself too in order to reunite with his hare.
