it feels like there’s nothing of substance being added that couldn’t have just been a quick flashback for the story…. or at least hurt and get to the point. I really used to like this story but holy crap some of these chapters add absolutely no value to the story.

mans is clearly obsessed with her because of his abusive past and she was his light in the dark but like he’s gotta get a grip lol. you don’t even like her romantically you just want her have possession over her while you live your life with your fiancée. You don’t even notice she’s going through hell but the minute she had a man you were all over that like white on rice
He really took the concept of never letting go of a childhood comfort item like a baby blanket or stuffed animal and looked at her going “same difference, you’re mine and exist to comfort me” like it made sense #－.－)

I'm only on chapter 17, so I haven't seen some of this stuff yet, though I can tell there is something or someone in the background "infecting" people around "Luna Palace", so I'm wondering if that is explained yet or do we need to wait till the end? Perhaps Fersen has a charm spell cast on everyone, Luna's dad broke his spell, so . . . IDK?
There might be more foul play going on behind the scenes that haven’t been revealed or maybe just the OG storylines plot armor around the two “main characters”. Without a doubt as you read more, Fersen used manipulation in the political scene to convince people that he had done nothing to be condemned for.
Especially when surrounded by women and saying our MC “clings to him” as though she is obsessed with him. Possibly just the usual high society political schemes in this one too.
