The main misunderstanding point is the fact she wrote a confession letter and put it in the pouch which he never replied + the fact that he went to the US out of no where and never contacted her for more than 10 years

ngl I stopped reading at the beginning of Yeonwoo getting bullied and waited a long time to come back so I could skim it, then I had to skim Haesol and Haesoo’s abuse too (Idk why — I can read some of the darkest stuff but this story is just really hard for me to read in regards to the dark stuff) but im glad i came back
U think it's the fact that it's just soooo well written. The emotions are so raw and real like you can understand the author took their time with each and everyone of the characters background and emotions. instead of just the main one and just skiming through the side characters back story like most authors

I really tried to feel bad for the Hye-whatever her name is but I literally fucking hate her. She’s a disturbed trainwreck blaming everyone but herself for her actions and decisions. She stayed for money, she doesn’t get pity for putting up with shit treatment just to live the high life.
Woojae looked fucking disgusted with her but that’s what he gets for being delusional and projecting his mommy issues onto this woman.
Another “woe is me” storyline about everyone shitting on the FL but the ML is a cutie patootie and the FL isn't the worst so I’ll stick it out.
