So, who has seen the raws up to the 72nd chapter???
I honestly don't know if I should continue reading this one. Or let this marinate more. Cause, I'm surprised with the sudden turn of events lol. She just came back and then she'll fight with her husband using sword?!!! A sword that came out of nowhere
I'm not updated in the manhua raws but as someone who read the novel a long time ago, I can definitely say that they've skipped a lot of scenes here. Xia Sini were totally omitted plus how come they were on this part already?!!! it seems a some chapters are missing.
We're on in the angsty arc (╥﹏╥)
It's a good thing though that Seongwoon kept a lot of Yeonwoo related stuffs. I hope this will help in him getting the gist who Yeonwoo is in his life ૮ ⸝⸝o · o⸝⸝ ა Pls. Treat our baby well even without memories(⸝⸝o‸o⸝⸝)
Ok the ML is, obviously, Kwon Lim, the eldest brother.
While MC is pinning for his friend, the big brother has been into him for a long time too. From what it seems, it started from curiosity to him developing feelings for the MC(or it could from the first time they met cos why would you take notice your brother's friend who is 5yrs younger than you if you're not interested with them). I'm not actually sure if KwonLim knows MC's feelings for his brother since the first time they met or while he was silently observing him.
According to some readers, this is more on about the development of the relationship between the two but of course there's the brother/friend that sometimes will take some screentime and would cause some "emotional rift" between the two. It seems most of the readers find ML to be lovable because of his character but also they find Haekyoung to be annoying because of his push or pull character. I think most characters here find ML difficult in terms of character but he's the type that's very different when it come with the MC.
Also, from what I read ML started acting because of MC. Not sure how true. But yep he's down bad for Haekyoung.
Something I don't understand is according to some reviews they say that while Kwon Lim has a crush on him for a long time, he is not a virgin. While Haekyoung, his first is Kwon Lim. But, they also said that for Kwon Rim, there's nothing else for him but Haegyoung. This is the part that I don't get.
ngl I was actually anticipating Wooyeon cussing in English uncensored. Novel did just narrate that he did cuss in English just like here so I wanna see what did he say to that senior. Anyhow, I liked the way they adapted this too.
I don't even have their music score but it's like I can hear their music. Am I the only one crying here????????????????? aaaaaAaAAaaAA
Idk why others labeled him as red flag. But I read the novel and finished it already. And I don't remember him being one. Idk if it's because I just used google translate. lol
Sure, he has his own issues but Wooyeon later admitted it that it wasn't just his(ML's) own fault. It was due to certain circumstances. Dohyun has been genuine to him. Yes, he hid a lot from him because of his insecurities but ALL the things he did with Wooyeon were sincere. Even as a his tutor, he was even looking forward to the hours he will spent with him. Yes, he was full of guilt because he had to report to Suhyang(MC's mom i honestly don't know if I got the name right) everything but I think it was just right as the parent who's been paying you to report what was going on with her son. The mother and son, if you think about it, got a very awkward relationship. His mom is overprotective and is bad at expressing herself. It's like those love interests who are bad at showing their affections and often misunderstood(this time in the body of a woman lol) I wonder how she treated her partner that it even extended to SeonWooyeon lol.
ML as manipulator? Idk if you trying to analyze everything then used your maturity to your advantage can be called as manipulation. Dohyun matured at an early age, he did his best so he will be chosen for adoption. I believe him having the maturity and using it to his advantage is very normal and human. It's not like he had to step on someone using those qualities of him. Yes, he faked his smile but still never he had ill intent unto others.
Also, pls I feel him after reading his POV also haha yes we got an ML who cries.
Idk if I've said this already. But, anyway will say it now. Hakyung and Yoonsung compliments each other. Hakyung's character is portrayed to be someone who will do anything for the people he loves. He will always prioritise his family. Cos why not.. His mom and even his brother do the same and are very loveable people. They're a set of loving family. He will pull out from his any relationship for the sake of his family. He'll sacrifice it. Now, Yoonsung is the type of person who has every materialistic things. He obviously has good relationship with other people. But the very person he wanted for his life is the one that's not there. His character is already said that once he is set to something, he will push to get it. And he does that with Hakyung who has a lot to weigh on. Hakyung may push Yoonsung away, but, Yoonsung will always pull Hakyung to be with him. Hakyung tends to need a lot of time to take care of things while Yoonsung is the type who will always wait for him.
Also, if you read the novel, in the end, Yoonsung has the power over his family so regardless of whatever the circumstances, his family got no choice but to accept Hakyung as his partner(Yoonsung's loved by his family too yk). If Hakyung is the inferior type, we got Yoonsung who is a dominant type hahaha
When I read the novel, I know for sure that the ML has a stalker vibes. That's why I'm not that surprised when the author drop this thing about his album. I'm even more surprised by the fact that it's not him who took those shots. Why am I not surprised? Come on.. this guy has been pinning for him since their HS days that he even followed him to his College of choice, is in almost same circle as his and went on to his own military service the moment he knew Jeongyoon's enlistment. He may be on a different major and/or group but still he made sure that he can still be connected with him even without direct interaction.
The author obviously cooking something. When Sooae and Dohwa met again, it's like he ignored and really forgotten her and erased her in his memory for him not to fully visualize her. But then the next chapter, boom we got his POV. As for Eunhyeok, we had this cafe scene that's almost same case as Dohwa's, Eunhyeok just glanced and ignored her. Then, poof gone and now unexpectedly met each other with him as music director, K. No Eunhyeok POV presented at all.
There are things I'm keeping note.
Dohwa never did explain his side how he did not recognized her. He just approached her naturally because of what she did for him when he was drank. Then it's like a simple reunion. Sooae, didn't question anything because in the first it was her who had a motive. When Dohwa knew that their meeting wasn't a coincidence he obviously turned sour. Don't forget there's this Sooae's promise that we have yet to know. Also, pls, note that he just distanced himself from her because he knew she will not choose him. He is her friend but suddenly gone in her life for 8/or 10 yrs.
Eunhyeok never did explain his side for ignoring her too. He approached her like nothing happened between them. He too was gone in her like for 8/or10 yrs. The thing here is what we all know, he is at fault. She didn't approach him. When she said to keep his boundaries, he's been doing it so far. His difference from Dohwa is that he(EH) is her BF.
I think that there's something grave reason for Eunhyeok or there's this misunderstanding caused by outside parties like Haru or Raim? But I'm more inclined to Haru. What if this guy's trying to make a real life story from the "The Black Rose of Versailles" so to aide Sooae in her novel. Jellypop may still play a role like how Haru can msg her, and maybe Eunhyeok too. Like he manipulated them.
Also something's obviously wrong with Eunhyeok. He's a music director when in fact he has a trauma? The way he sometimes reacted like he can't control his old habits.
Honestly, I can't totally label him a red flag not until I know his POV. I also need to know Suae's promise to Dohwa.
If the author will be consistent, Dohwa already said it that Eunhyeok got the opportunity first. Now, they reunited, he was the first to get the chance. So, we'll see where will this go in the future. Too bad we'll be in the long hiatus. Anyway, I hope author recover properly.
The fact that Pureum admitted her awkwardness acting familiar with a guy who has a girlfriend. So she just keep on her lane. Not everyone does this! She knows her boundaries on this part. It maybe is a misunderstanding on her part but still for me it's the right attitude to not be all chummy with a person who is in a relationship. I believe it's a form of respect to the other party to avoid unnecessary misunderstanding.
Obviously, Dohwa is yet to move on. He was in good mood during his text convo with Suae. He was evidently giggling. The moment Suae told him that she has a motive, that's when his reaction changed. I wonder what is the promise she made with him.
Idk for the others, but I'm just glad that Suae was honest with him. It will hurt Dohwa more if she prolonged this case (knowing her she will feel more guilty in the process of the more she spent time with him and definitely she will still end up confessing her concerns which will hurt more for the both of them).
Now, it's up to Dohwa, how he will take this. Which he, obviously, accepted with a given condition.
As for Eunhyeok, I can't label him as red flag yet. Cos his POV is yet to come out. My concern is that, why is he a well known music director when in fact we all know how much he was not comfortable in this field. He only played with Suae and that child(forgot his name) was around. We all know how much he detests to be like his father. His first reaction when he glanced at Suae vs his current reaction meeting her in their office were different.
I can feel that the author is down for letting these three hurt first.
That's our girl. It's not about memory loss anymore but more like his personality or the kind of person he is now doesn't making any sense at all. He's basically being petty. Imagine you guys are in rush as your boss pointed out.. that's why you needed to take an overtime yet you see them not doing their part and from your pov they seem to enjoy your suffering.
Pls. We need to separate personal life from work. If there are things that your employee can't share, I think we should know that's the boundaries they already set for their own selves.
I've said it before and will say it again. The reasons she works hard is for her family. If her job would affect her relationship with her family, then I believe she should leave already. It will be hard but in the first place she's in this reputable company because of her skills so it shouldn't be hard enough to land to a job with a better work conditions.
As a reader, yes, I know the guy is jealous.
But if I was in her shoes, I would have resigned already. An immediate resignation, if possible.
One, it feels my work here is unsatisfying, what can I contribute more. I f***ed up my supposed to be "simple tasks". The co-workers seems don't need me. They seem to be more capable than me given with how they treated me.
Two, it seems my superior will never be satisfied with my work. I tried to get his insights on what's there to be fixed. Others may get him, but it seems my knowledge and ability is very poor that I don't get whatever he's trying to say. I find him being vague ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ So, I guess we will never work out as employer and subordinate.
Three, it affects my family time. I work for my family. If this will ruin my relationship with them, I believe it's not worth it.
It's hard to look for a job but with her portfolio, I guess she can still land on a proper job.
Good thing, I'm not her and this one's a fiction. Cos surely there'll be no happy ending for me and that guy if we have same mentality. lol.
Plsss! Dohwa and Suae have been good friends. The way they were before is way more than the way they are now. She's not leading him on. In the first place, she's not aware of his feelings. She still sees him as her friend.
Maybe some of you thought she's stepping out of line, but for me, it's because you guys know Dohwa's feelings. But please remember he, as a friend, did more than what Suae's currently doing. They used to hang out/spend more time alot.
While I feel bad for Dohwa, it's not Suae's fault if he fell for her. Dohwa just tried his best to set boundaries. Suae didn't even say any sweet things to him. She being this nosy is because she cares for him as her close friend seems to astray and don't forget it's the company who is a threat to Suae's life. To point out, even Eunhyeok was put into danger too because of his association with her. For her, she's responsible for Dohwa too.
All I wanted is for them to be happy. Atp, no one deserves hate.
for someone who's still undergoing therapy for his mental illness, him having future plans is huge step for him ╥﹏╥ it's not easy!! there are times that depression will keep on kicking in.. it's hard to fight with your mind, I swear. At least, this time, he got the proper support. Except for the omegaverse part, the touch on a person with mental problem is almost near to realistic.
For how many times, I've read this from the original novel in Ridi (take note I can't read Hangul.. just Google/Papago translated it) to the releases in manhwa to the official R15 ver of Manta to Lezh|n's R19 and yes here I am rereading this again and again. That's how good this series is. The adaptation's really good. Definitely one of my fave BL.
If ever you kept in contact with another girl and didn't keep in touch with Jeongmin for 4years, I'm sorry Siyun but I can't defend you if someone throw stones at you.
At some point I get the other guy. Anyone who heard that, would definitely think the same. He would have judged and thought that what Jeongmin said is already the whole story. Of course, there are some parts taken out so yes definitely someone would misunderstood that.
No matter how much you mask it as doing for the other person. While the other party isn't aware of whatever's you're up to? Then definitely, you're cheating. They maybe co-actors and can do that on-cam, but with that act off-cam and kissing? Hahaha only in-denials would say it's not. That's it for me, bye.
