Hmm correct me if I'm wrong but I kinda remember that in the novel, Edith(with Killian) unknowingly saved a supposed to be a royal(?). It's been a long time since I read this I may have mixed this with the others. But, the current flow of manhwa is very different now with how it was in the novel.
Maybe, it's this part? Also, this may help leverage the status of the knight so he can be with the princess(?)
It’s definitely not this part. This is entirely new and did not come from the novel. Like the other person said^^ That’s from the side stories. That event required Lize, but since they changed her ending, it’s all different now. I guess they either wanted a conclusion for this villainess girl or felt the need to stir some more drama since they took out lize earlier than planned in the novel.
Yep, right thanks ^^
It's just I thought that since they changed the manhwa, maybe they'll be doing some adjustments on this part with Lize not in here anymore. I forgot who and on which part this is in the novel, tbh, since it's been a long time and I've been reading different novels since then. But thanks for pointing it out. :)
So, who has seen the raws up to the 72nd chapter???
I honestly don't know if I should continue reading this one. Or let this marinate more. Cause, I'm surprised with the sudden turn of events lol. She just came back and then she'll fight with her husband using sword?!!! A sword that came out of nowhere
https://newtoki466.com/ Raws here :D
Ok the ML is, obviously, Kwon Lim, the eldest brother.
While MC is pinning for his friend, the big brother has been into him for a long time too. From what it seems, it started from curiosity to him developing feelings for the MC(or it could from the first time they met cos why would you take notice your brother's friend who is 5yrs younger than you if you're not interested with them). I'm not actually sure if KwonLim knows MC's feelings for his brother since the first time they met or while he was silently observing him.
According to some readers, this is more on about the development of the relationship between the two but of course there's the brother/friend that sometimes will take some screentime and would cause some "emotional rift" between the two. It seems most of the readers find ML to be lovable because of his character but also they find Haekyoung to be annoying because of his push or pull character. I think most characters here find ML difficult in terms of character but he's the type that's very different when it come with the MC.
Also, from what I read ML started acting because of MC. Not sure how true. But yep he's down bad for Haekyoung.
Something I don't understand is according to some reviews they say that while Kwon Lim has a crush on him for a long time, he is not a virgin. While Haekyoung, his first is Kwon Lim. But, they also said that for Kwon Rim, there's nothing else for him but Haegyoung. This is the part that I don't get.
Some people have casual relationships. I haven't read the book or anything but from the few spoilers I've seen, it's not specified if KwonLim is gay or bi. At 5 years olders, he could have already been having high school 'fun' by 17, not really focusing solely on his curiosity of Haekyoung who would have been 12 at that time. Maybe he met someone/people who looked like/reminded him of Haekyoung and had sex.
ngl I was actually anticipating Wooyeon cussing in English uncensored. Novel did just narrate that he did cuss in English just like here so I wanna see what did he say to that senior. Anyhow, I liked the way they adapted this too.
I read this in RIDI it's already complete. You need an account to read it there. It's in Korean. I just used google translate or papago for tranlation. If you check previous comments, some are reading the novel in Spanish. Some also said there's a fan translation in English though not yet complete(?)

Heads up!!!!!!.... This contains a little spoiler from the novel.... Okay it seems like that artist will give Lize/author a happy ending together with Cliff or they will fall together. Idk if it's a good thing or bad. The artist is obviously doing some mix and match here. The knight turned out to be a royal when in fact this story is about the nephew.
In the novel Cliff had his happy ending with another person after his marriage with Lize fell out. There, I honestly liked that it's just the author who had her downfall. After all the manipulations on every characters and using and killing every 'Edith' you're giving her chance. She wanted the whole world to revolve around her main character and created a villain to make her MC/Lize shine more when in reality not all people can be pleased. Why make another person a villain just for you to shine more.
So cliff went to the modern world?
I did enjoyed Edith's ending in that cozy castle, BUT I wasn't happy with the In-laws and Cliff's ending, like they kept the author in the family after all she had done, the only nice part was Lize cheating on Cliff.
I hate Cliff so much that I hope he ends up on the streets and completely crazy because he couldn't find the author.
uhm no. If it's the manhwa, it's just my assumption that the artist is giving Cliff and Lize/author a happy ending together.
If we talk about the novel, it wasn't like this. That's what I meant. Sorry if my comment was a little confusing. I've experienced some of my thoughts were auto replaced by my keyboard's dictionary or some were cut. I've tried to edit it that I tend to miss some parts in my thoughts, punctuation marks, etc. Anyway, back to the novel version of this series. Cliff and Lize were then married but had to separate then as Lize's character can't be redeemed. She turned worst but her ending wasn't that bad as she was sent to convent. And as for Cliff, he found a new love. That's how it was different with the manhwa version.
Actually, at some point I like the version of in-laws here where they then realized how wrong they are but what doesn't sit right for me is the part that since Lize and Cliff were a failure, we have Killian and Edith to have replace their position. I liked more the premise of Edith and Killian building their own territory with their own power. Tbf, Killian and Cliff at some point had a good relationship, it's not in his character to see his brother's down fall. So better leave Cliff the position that was set to him and see the effects of what their parents have sown for years.
I agree too that at some point I hated Cliff esp on how antagonistic his character towards Edith. Also, from what I see now he's just obsessed with Lize.
