For the politics I'm also lost haha tbh there's a lot saying not showing so it's hard to tel if a line is important or not haha
As for the relationships, I could be wrong tho:
1) MC & the black haired siblings= after MC went mad and killed the king/lord, his "heir" status was revoked & his uncle took over and become the next lord. His mum committed suicide soon after. Normally he should had been executed but the uncle made him a slave instead and handed him to the the siblings which are one of his allies/supporter. Lisbeth is the current lord, protects MC from her brother, Lister who since he was young have been crushing on MC and had been on the aggressive side way before. When MC went mad and it become known that he's in a relationship with the knight and he then become a slave, Lister aggressiveness increased. [SPOILER. from novel] MC never killed his father. His mum was pushed on top of the tower. Lister prior the story did something that could get his family's name in danger, so Lisbeth betrayed MC to save her family/kids/bro. When the uncle took over the power, ML (Jyode??) was sent to war and asked Lisbeth to look after MC who started having headaches and seizure. Lisbeth instead feed MC medicine with side effects that made him forget stuff. The sibling took advantage of MC amnesiac state and gave him false memory, all his friends & alllies in the castle were either killed, went missing or left the country. Lisbeth was always torn between telling him the truth or lie to keep her family safe. It is implied that Lisbeth is being poisoned by prob mc's uncle till she died tho not before approving MC engagement with Lister. After her death Lister he couldn't marry MC asap since ML lead an attack on them and they had to flee. Politically I think Lister just want to marry MC ( bc marriage is = MC being his slave 4ever) & is aiding the uncle just to save his family and get rid of ML. [End SPOILER]
2) MC & ML: ml made an oath to serve and protect MC. They were lovers. I LITERALLY KNOW NOTHING ELSE LMAO. Only thing I know is that they ML is trying to overthrown the siblings and save MC.
