Im just curious guys. The first one for me was when my dad first showed me DBZ. It was kinda like a bonding experience for me, every day after school we would chill and watch it, after that I could not seem to get enough of anime.
For me it was inuyasha. My dad and I would watch it at like 12ish at night bc i wanted to watch it with him and that's when he came home from work.
Thats cool, I always found it fun to watch anime with my dad since my mom wasn't that into at the time.
Well, neither of my parents are into anime, but I remember watching Pokemon and Doraemon on the TV as a kid if that counts. During my preteen years is when I really got into anime. I think I started off with Hetalia but never caught up with the series, and then I think I moved on to Angel Beats and Another.

For me it's simple reading yaoi. Many of my friends do not like yaoi and find it awkward to even mention it. I seem to be the exception in our group. I can read just about any yaoi manga, I just can't help myself(￣∇￣")

Why not i wanna spread our rare species...the first thing i did with my male friends is were in the middle of a discussion about how we hate romance with a super cutesy and careless girls the common shoujo stories, then i said it's better boy x boy at first they are all like.....ok wtf! I was like wut? It's not that bad of course at first it is quite hard because all of them are straight then i did tell the story about killing stalking but i didn't say that bum is a male they find it very intetesting..then they found out it is a boy x boy but since they have curiosity all over their body they continue to read k.s and im gradually recommending other bl mangas with a twisted plot so they will be fascinated until they cant even watch or read shoujo manga,anime and movies that involves a relationship between men and women up until now they're still read bl mangas and they also watch bl movies which i dont like i only read bl mangas same process with my female friends hope this will help you...i know i have a lot of wrong grammar sorry(Ｔ▽Ｔ)
