this is one of those rare stories where i am SO FRUSTRATED with MC but at the same time she's written so fucking perfectly that my frustration is more like watching someone get hurt while you're held back from helping them. like our girl is so, so beaten down like she just wants everything to end, even if she's falsely accused. i wanna scream at this girl FIGHT BACK but she just won't. she can't. she's so used to this by now she doesn't even see the point in trying anymore. my heart man. i dont know what a happy ending even looks like anymore. i dont think she'll be happy with cal, or with anyone else. i think the ultimate happy ending she sees is disappearing entirely, and unless author-nim does some amazing ass-kicking of literally everyone else in the story, i don't see any other ending being anything but a hollow replacement for what she actually wants :(
