just here to say since we're finally getting the anime adaptation in about a month. i hope people dont misunderstand hananoi too much. hes just a traumatized boy and hes doing his best to heal and get better alright. his character development is fascinating. please i will die if ppl hate on him too much. aside from that HYPEEE the op song is such a bop and it will be airing on netflix too. manifesting much love for new hananoi kun lovers

hi god its me again in 2024 and still waiting for an anime adaptation. i remember reading this one for the first time back in highschool and having the biggest crush on shishio. but even for people who were rooting for shishio its still really hard not to swap teams towards the end ,, mamura is truly the goodest boy in the world. and you know mazume was that ship cause they got so many AMVs at the time we were thriving.
dudes aside suzume was a nice protag overall a breath of fresh air despite being bit dumbdumb. AND NEKOTA!!!!! idk dont you just love when fake girl and dense girl become besties. ik i do. nekota call me.
anyways i have to thank this manga for introducing me to yamamori mika's gorgeous artwork. a sight for sore eyes truly. tho i dont like the way that fugly dude looks in her most recent work. im talking about kibikino sensei thanks for making him so gender.
Precisely because it's 2024 this won't get an anime adaptation. People these days are overly sensitive and judgemental. Look at the comments... The studio that would have picked this up would have ended up being labeled as pedophiles and the mangaka would get unnecessary hate from people who barely read the synopsis.
But indeed over a decade ago, when I read this, I also hoped for an anime.
