From the raws, guard has no relation to MC and he was adopted abroad, his parents are foreigners. He has his own storyline coming up.

Good luck enduring the stupidity, i agree the kids were so cute i felt like pinching the screen, but it is so rushed and the characters are so inconsistent, I’m afraid it is going to be really bad :/
