Honestly, I think no one younger than 14 should be reading anything smutty or generally nsfw. Any age for yaoi/yuri is fine, but younger audiences should stick to fluffy stories. Reading nsfw yaoi/yuri at a young age leads to the fetishization of gay/lesbian relationships and creates the toxic yaoi/yuri fans that we all know and “love”.
