I have a theory, I think that the father deep down really cared for her but couldn’t show it and that he gave her the knife to defend herself and that the crown prince that came to her cell was probably sent by her father to help her escape.

I don’t get why it’s so hard for her to think that her husband’s cheating on her when she cheating on him, I get he’s a horrible husband no sympathy there but cheating is cheating.
