I don't think the crown prince or the empress loves Helener... They knew that she would be horrified about wearing the same dress and knew she would be hated even more by the female lead. But they did it anyway because the crown Prince and empress wanted to ruin the female leads coming of age serimony... they didn't care about her feelings nor the consequences that would fall on her. They just happily used her to take out what ever grudge they had on the female lead and left her to cry on a bench outside... I don't hate Helener, I feel sorry for her... ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
