This manga is a refreshing read. To be honest, it made me understand my friend more.
Heads up, I'm gonna tell a short story about it.
Well, my friend identifies as pansexual. He mostly had ex-boyfriends before, so I thought he was gay, turns out he wasn't. I couldn't really understand it before, since I'm also a guy, but he kept on asking me for advice and whenever he breaks up with a guy he'd come crying to me. So I searched about his gender identity and stories that might relate to him, and voila, welcome to yaoi land. I know yaoi isn't the best place to be when associating it with real life, but because of it, I could give him advices that never applied to me, but somehow help him to lessen the pain.
He's just like the Ise. All of the guys he dated so far also called him annoying and clingy, and ended up leaving him because "women are much better." He also loves to do household chores and is very meticulous about everything he does. But now, he's afraid of being hurt again. I just hope that someday, he'll find the right person that will love him.
If you're still reading this, thank you for the time you spent reading this story. I'm also grateful to the mangaka who made this manga.
The art is so-so. Suika has big bazongkas that seem to change in diff panels. It's quite hilarious.
For the story, (SPOILERS AHEAD) I find it absurdly funny. It's the type of story you turn your brain off and just enjoy the ride. The age difference between the main characters (34 and 16) will for sure turn a lot of people off.
I liked Yuzuriha's (male mc) personality tho. He might be a recluse, but he knows that Japan is going crazy with all its new laws about procreation. He wants to write novels about friendship, but the government only allows romance.
