If it kept you interested this far, there's simply no way it's mid to you. That's a stupid thing to say.
Something that really doesn't interest you would be a drag to read, thus you wouldn't get attached in the first place.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for reading criticism on all types of stories, but this isn't criticism, it's just a claim without substance and it doesn't even ring true.

And again, even with prior investment, you would have had to be entertained for quite a while, the story's quality didn't drop, so how is it "mid" now, but wasn't the entire time you apparently read it with enough investment to "get attached". It still sounds extremely dishonest.

Critiquing something does not mean you have to write a thesis on something. If you criticize something, you criticize it.
If there's no given reason to something that is otherwise based on taste, not on factual reasons, it may be worthless criticism, but it remains criticism.
Anyway, what I'm calling out is the worthlessness of your claim from the perspective of the one you are critiquing (the author) as well as other readers. You point out it is mid but give no discernable reason, while complaining as if something or someone forced you to keep reading. When:
1. If it was well-written enough to bind you this badly to the oh-so-mid plot, it means it wasn't bad and the quality of the writing itself is consistent. By claiming it is now mid, it would have always been mid. Then why so attached. Which is it?
2. Most things that endangered the protagonist are gone, with the Camp out of tje picture. No one specifically targets him anymore. We are now only cleaning up the peripherie and tie up loose ends with the numbers, the guy who always sits in front of the painting and 003 in particular. There's no big mystery here, that you need to find out about. What got you so hanging onto the story, if you feel the need to shit on it?

No one said I felt as if you wanted to "convert" me. I just don't like people who feel as if they needed to voice their opinions on entire stories at once without giving any rhyme or reason. Why even say anything at all, If you don't actually want to make a point?
