I don't think it was supposed to be a revenge plot. Kamio just misunderstood and Furukawa just rolled with it. Furukawa is just hella possessive and keeps using the whole "don't you feel bad for what you did" as an excuse. Kinda shitty but with the string of manga we've been getting lately it's not shocking the plot would be this shallow lol
