Yashiro pretended he didn't remember Doumeki when they was in the hospital four years ago because he didn't want to deal with his feelings for Doumeki. Yashiro has refused to have his own group and has been running illegal gambling since. Doumeki was then given to Tsunakawa's group (guy fishing) and has flourished working for him for the last four years. Tsunakawa wants to keep him permanently now (maybe exchange cups?), but I think Doumeki just does his best with the hope Yashiro will call him back some day.
