I thought Larl only created and stitched the intricate embroidery pattern on that one. Of course, thinking about it, that’s what made the gorgeous wedding dress so stunning. So yeah, lol, Larl gets credit for that, too.

In this timeline I’m pretty sure Larl wasn’t designing yet. Remember how horrible they all were and fl was worried sick he wouldn’t find his confidence in time. The designs he showed her were awful. I definitely do remember that the fl found out that the shop owner claimed to have created herself, Larl’s beautiful embroidery patterns she used on all her dresses, which is what made her the most popular dressmaker of high society. I’d go look it up, but I’m being lazy today.

No no. He did design them. In one of the chapters stated that he gave the "developed" sketchbook to the madam (which gain recognition for the store). The wedding dress was one of the many dresses drawn by Larl. Why his design become horrible? It is because he is in a slump, adding that to his belief that he is not meant for designing.

I put lazy on hold because you all had me thinking I was losing my mind so I went back to check.

Chapter 36 is where Daisy realizes the owner made the dress, but stole the embroidery from Larl.

Chapter 37 is where Daisy looks at Larl’s design sketchbook and it’s horrific. This chapter also reveals how Madam Chiffon’s verbal, emotional and physical abuse took every bit of confidence Larl had in being able to design a dress. Daisy feels it was her decisions in the new timeline that destroyed Larl’s chances at being a designer.

Chapter 38 confirms the wedding dress was designed by Madam Chiffon. The embroidery was all Larl’s. She agreed to wear Madam’s wedding dress if Larl could design the reception dress.

Chapter 39, here’s where we probably all got mixed up. When Larl first came to work for that bitch, he’d shown her his first sketchbook before she destroyed his confidence. It says she used his embroidery and designs to make dresses for years. However, it says the only thing used on the wedding dress was Larl’s embroidery and jewel embellishments. They also show he’s still incapable of designing a dress at this point.

Chapter 41 verifies once more that it was Larl’s beautiful embroidery and jewel embellishments that made Madam Chiffon’s dress design perfect.

Anyway, from there is was about Larl trying to get the reception dress right.

But the mc also said that the design was old which is Is synonymous with when shop owner bought the book for next to nothing. That shop owner was probably cycling the ideas until it loses her money since she mixes crap materials into her work.

Another note is how she didn't make a new dress. She use the same recommended dress laying in the shop that the mc dissed when asking for an opinion.

I read all the chapters again. IMO the dress design was the owner and the embroidery and jewel embellishments were Larl’s as was stated multiple times in these chapters. So we just have to settle that we each read the chapters and came up with different opinions. It’s all good.

No, in chapter 36 Daisy said the dress was a masterpiece, but too old fashioned to be Larl’s design. That’s because Larl was a trend setter. His designs were nothing the empire had ever seen before. Just more proof she didn’t steal or recycle that design from Larl. I’m not taking up for the bitch, just simply reading what Daisy and Larl said.
