1. Zaizen X Kiriya (Their childhood story was intense. They love each other but either both parties realize or not, it doesn't matter to them. They keep loving each other.)
2. Daiki X Princess (1 of the top fav. Sawato is the best tsundere ever. The way he loves Daiki is nomnomnom....)
3. Hizuru X Youmei (less fav because Youmei shows less face expression, except on the gunshot scene with Hizuru. )
4. Hitomi X Ito. (This type couple is marshmallow. Too cute too sweet. I love sadistic Hitomi but overprotective towards Ito.
Top couple is YoumeiXHizuru then ZaizenXKiriya...dk if it's cuz I like kuuderes but for me the awkwardness demonstrated by Youmei is high key cute to me. I kinda can't put into words but I know what I wanna say lol...he loves Hizuru and I guess he's the 'Actions louder than words' type of guy so I love him-Anyways...I like their couple dynamic because he's basically dead inside but he's trying and on the other hand Hizuru's self esteem is shit(like he literally has much) so he accepts and is overly happy with whatever display of affection Youmei shows... Also since youmei is kinda one note I can interpret his actions anyway I want I guess. they're just high-key great for each other. And I like ZaizenXKiriya and the rest for the same reasons u said only #3 n 4 are switched

Atm Sawato X Daiki; their story is the most painful, angsty and the culmination was just oh so satisfying.
Zaizen Kiriya are a very close second, I love their backstory but I need to get back to the present tbh because they're my fave type of couple, two people attracted/ in love with each other but have not been able to close the distance. I can see them surpassing SD.
I don't like Youmei Hizuru, so I don't include them. I don't like the dog analogies, and the power imbalance leaves a sour taste. I did like the story just not them as a couple.
So for the third place that leaves the forerunner, Hitomi and his guy. Tbh I almost stopped reading this manga because of them, they are the least interesting couple from all of sensei's forerunning couples. Her first couples are usually the sweetest and have the least drama but in these two's case it feels like they're lacking something, a spark?
Hm. And here I am thinking Daiki and Sawato were the least interesting. Daiki could have forestalled so much heartache on Sawato's part but instead their relationship just became such a trope and so clichéd. Ito and Hitomi were the most interesting. Ito is a cinnamon roll after all. And Zaizen and Kiriya are second place.

at 1st i also hate how cold sawato was treating daiki.but the flashback actually made sense.sawato was hurt mentally.even now he still had trauma especially over daiki's injuries. i can feel his pain

I read raw and it wasn't enough. The uke was too soft and easily forgiving and the seme was a bastard. Eventho he's regretting, but hurting that guy, toying his heart and easily forgiven is not my cup. I'm pissed off. in japan they had 7 volumes by now and still ongoing. i just gave up. the story has only little tiny progress over 30 chapters. i guess this manga is focusing on sadistic sex. for those who seek for romance, this is not for ya. the longer you read the longer you getting angry. LOL.
