I feel like I just wasted my time reading this. >.<
The plot was not smooth at all. All the characters were super flat. Especially the ex, like wow such a blatant plot device.
The art wasn't bad, but the colors sometimes felt distractingly bright, and the art style felt like old school Japanese manga which I'm not a fan of. Just my personal taste.
And I hate to nitpick at translations when I'm reading this for free and people spent time translating it. But the translations were pretty bad and unfortunately degraded the reading experience for me. Also it was really obvious that the scans came from Korean, japanese, and Spanish versions which meant the direction you read in kept switching without warning! That was really annoying. :/
Not a fan. :( Keito said he liked the Italian guy because "I can't forget the way you kissed me." You mean the rapey nonconsentual kiss? The main thing driving the plot forward was the rapey stuff. The food and their personalities were just secondary drivers and it should have been the other way around. I can overlook (and occasionally enjoy) rapey scenes in manga if it's not the driving, founding force behind a romantic relationship. But here it was.
I was rooting for masayuki until he turned out to be a rapey bastard too. Le sigh.
And the no condom thing is cute when they're virgins, but that boy 1000% has an STD after sleeping with a different woman off the street(!) every week for who knows how long!
And on top of all that, the plot was pretty cliche.
The last chapter was cute but it doesn't erase how bad the first 4 chapters were.
The ending was rushed, and plot threads were left hanging. But to those complaining about the lack of romantic closure, this is a Chinese manhua where creating BL can get you 10 years in prison because of obscenity laws. (This is the same reason 19 Days will always be a cocktease.) So please don't complain about the lack of romance. I'd rather the author be safe.
The story was whatever but the smut was 10/10 chef's kisses
