I really wanted to like this but the predatory vibes were too high for me even though I usually don't mind teacher x student relationships. It didn't help that the more vulnerable person in their unbalanced power dynamic was a tsundere. I could give lots of specific examples, but overall their relationship just didn't seem very healthy from my POV.
The plot was also just an amalgamation of every BL cliche ever and the unoriginality wasn't engaging for me.
I read the whole thing genuinely hoping it would get better, but it didn't. :/
I want someone like Sana, he's so kind and understanding and supportive!
Also some trivia for anyone who doesn't know: when Sana said "the moon is lovely tonight", I'm guessing the original japanese was 月が綺麗ですね (tsuki ga kirei desu ne). This is a japanese literary allusion coined by Natsume Souseki which means "I love you." So the next panel when Togo has that super cute blush, it's really because Sana just said something super romantic.

I put off reading this because I thought it was going to be so wholesome that it would be boring, but this was soo good!! The story felt grounded in reality which is rare for a BL, and there was a good amount of healthy conflict. Somehow I read 5 chapters but it felt like only two - I would devour more volumes of this couple!
Ughdhfhdjsks there is soooo much potential for a vol 2, I really hope we get it!! I really want to see their relationship grow more and take deeper roots. To see yuuma become more confident in himself and their relationship, and to see them going on dates and stuff.
Sensei and publishers will never see this comment so I'm sending my thought energy lol: pleeeeease give us vol 2!
I still can't get over the fact they did it in the dirt lmao.
What a way to lose his butt virginity. Like can't even lay down a shirt or find a bench, just roll around in the dusty dirt and rocks lol.
I'm also not a fan of characters getting pushed around a bunch; makes the relationship feel unbalanced to me.
But otherwise it was p cute!
This mangaka always writes such good side charas and never gives them side stories or spin offs!
I'm kinda disappointed they turned the uke from a strong, career-driven, quirky personality into a basic, love-drunk omega. It felt like a weaksauce move for the sake of plot.
But otherwise it was enjoyable!
I've tried writing this comment 58384 times and I just don't know how to express all the emotions I feel right now. T____T
Yu Yang is probably the most well-developed character I've ever read in any comic. I love him so much! I love all of them so much!
I also really loved the conflicted Chu Huan Wen. The author did an incredible job conveying the sense that he was reaching his limit at the same time he was falling hopelessly for the sweetest Ji Yuan. The slow burn between them was so pure! I only wish we got to see more of Ji Yuan falling in love too and their first kiss.
The plot was perfect, the pacing was perfect. I laughed, I cried. As soon as I can afford to, I'm buying all the chapters so I can support this masterpiece.
I hope the author gets to take a good long rest, but I'm also highly looking forward to what they create next!
