It's not the end yet! There's a third volume that's already completed.
No worries, my dear! I stumbled upon a platform where I can access Japanese raws. Unfortunately, it comes at a cost, and I had to pay ¥1,562 for two volumes. It's to be expected, I suppose. Plus, since I don't understand Japanese, it may not be of much use to me. I don't think there's a vol 3 (although I'm not entirely certain as I didn't notice it).
Wow I hated this.
Attempting to turn noncon and dubcon into comedy just makes me uncomfortable. Sexual assault isn't funny to me, and I think trying to dress it up as such sends a bad message. Or hey, maybe I'm just a a stick in the mud lol.
Comedy aside, I don't mind noncon if the one being assaulted is pulling a tsundere and is actually super into it, but I didn't really get that vibe from Jin. He kept calling for help and seemed really uncomfortable with the whole father debacle.
I also didn't find their relationship or falling in love believable. The seme would say he loved Jin for more than his ass, but then the literal next scene would be him waxing poetic about his ass again or them having sex. I know it's supposed to be a shallow story, but the few driving plot elements that the author chooses to employ need to at least be believable.
I also hated the scene where the seme accepted Jin's rapist as his student because the rapist stroked his ego a little. What a terrible thing to do to someone he claims to love.
There's a lot more I found wrong with the story, but those are the big ones. Honestly, I didn't find anything redeeming about this so one star from me.
Ngl the uncensored dicks are half the reason I loved this so much! Whoever redrew these - they're srsly the best redrawn dicks I've ever seen, damn.
But I'm also such a fan of oji-san in BL so this was a treat! :9 Especially the uke's sincerity and the seme falling in love without realizing or meaning to. And the gorgeous art. This was a great read!
The first two chapters had a great setup and I was ready to put this in my favorites list, and then the rest was just disappointing.
The bondage thing just ended up being a cheap vehicle to get them together and was tossed aside after that was accomplished even though the uke seemed like he had a real interest in it that could have been explored way better than it was.
The actual process of them confessing their feelings was so unnecessarily drawn out, rife with overplayed miscommunication that was just going in circles.
I'm also not a fan of possessive love because it's unhealthy, but at least keep it consistent. The seme didn't show any signs of being possessive until the bondage part.
Overall I'd rate it slightly above average 6.5/10
The author's name is wrong but idk if there's a way to fix it? The correct name is Tsuyuhisa Fumi, same author of Kouguu no Omega.
