
The trope of introducing a recipe like coffee or a korean dish into this world and then the FL makes bank is suchhhh an overused trope now. It wastes so much time and honestly is just lazy writing. Its like they resort to this rather than come up with an actual plot

I get you... I'd be more interested if they at least went in depth into like... the different processes of cocoa beans for example. Because chocolate especially is extremely diverse in how its made and tastes. Also wild is authors thinking people in the old days ate poorly, when they actually ate better than us and had more intense, natural recipes
