Okay, so I said this reminded of grooming and people went off lol. Not directly to me but I got some people up and dancing about the idea of this being grooming. I mean whatever floats y'all boat, but seme clearly invited uke boy over with ulterior motives, made several moves at him even though he was told to stop, and even admits the kid is underage and HE would be the one in trouble. He built that trust and even salivated at the chance of fooling around during their sleep over. Yes, he never did anything, which is great, but we know what went on his head. The fact that he built the relationship with an underage kid to ultimately get in his pants, reminds me of grooming.
Here are some points I'd like to address since my last comment. I'll be paraphrasing
1. "he waited for him to become an adult." Vs attacking straight on, this is considered an achievement. Shows how low the bar is set for a seme to be considered God tier material.
2. "it's fictional, don't take it seriously." I don't know why this is even a point. You're just dismissing the discussion altogether. It'd be better to actually have something to say rather than saying this.
3. "Never forced him." ...hmm Yes and no. The morning after their sleep over, seme went up and basically locked him against the counter and said "why are you still here, did you not hear what I said yesterday" basically giving him an ultimatum, "you know how I feel, yet you're still here, should I remind you what I can do to you" is what I got from that scene. Yes, not forceful at all. Just being very kind at reminding uke he needs to quickly make his choice about whether to respond or not.
4. "Almost 18 or as long as he's not under a certain age." I mean you're trying to push numbers to make a point, that in itself should say enough lol.
5. "Seme was respectful." - I mean, you kind of have to be respectful to the kid you're trying to get it with lol. Why would he be disrespectful and lose the chance to gain this trust? Makes no sense.
6. "He only imagined it, he didn't do anything." Again, how low the bar has been set. It's great he only imagined it, doesn't mean I'm not weirded out.
I'm not tryna be a pedophile so yeah. Basically felt wrong to me so I said it. It doesn't feel wrong to some folks? Now that is kind of scary to me, personally.
I don't know how old some of y'all are, but if I was 15 maybe I can see why him being almost 18 makes sense and why their relationship is cute. Most kids want to be adults so quick they don't realize what they're doing and thinking is actually not okay. I had a friend in high school get into a relationship with an adult, somewhere in his mid 20s but under 30. At the fresh age of 16 or 17, I didn't think anything of it. Now looking back, she was in fact raped, under the statutory law that anyone under the age of 18 can't consent. And yeah, basically I dunno who that man is, but he must've really appreciated how dumb we high schoolers were because he got to get with a 11th grader and got away with it. Point is, you're either a kid yourself that's why you don't see what's up, or you're just a bad adult trying to find these excuses. Sorry not sorry bros.
7. "it's consensual" Yes, after he graduated. But that doesn't take away the time seme spent with him prior. Also let's not get uke involved in this. I'm seeing a lot of folks say uke willingly entered the relationship. Reminds me of victim blaming, how if an adult is exposed of something, people have to bring the underaged person up to try and reason why the adult did etc etc. Like who cares if the kid "consented" or whatever, the person who is the adult should have known better than to get someone underaged involved. Point blank.

Yes they didn’t have sex right away but it does NOT change the fact that the older dude had ulterior motives from the start and that he was well aware that kid was underage. I never understand why authors do this like just make him 20 or something and you’d still have a 12y age gap, and you can make him a uni student if you want the ‘school’ part too, why the gross pedophilic grooming bullshit
