Firstly, it's too fast paced and there aren't really significant wholesome moment between FL and Riri.
Maybe I read too fast IDK it kinds of boring.
It makes sense how desperate Riri clings onto FL since she's lonely.
But FL feels more like a nanny than a mother.
I was expecting early 20+ chapters to be a lot more lovey dovey, cute mother daughter moment but it didn't.
And, Luca and Duke is equally annoying.
One keep doing things according to his whatever reasons, and the other one keep popping up on and off.
Feels like a lot of things going on, but it doesn't reflected on the plot.
Finally JK put Dan in his place.
I was waiting for this moment, because for the past 45 chapters I really didn't see any moment that implied JK likes Dan.
All I can see is he treating Dan like a sex toy, so I don't understand how y'all can find any aspect to justify Dan delusional.

I absolutely agree with what you've expressed above. JK wants his Jinx to be managed in a more controlled way. He repays his debts in exchange for sex, that's all. JK has never made any promise of love or a life of luxury to Dan; his only desire is to have sex. However, fans, disappointed and harboring toxic resentments linked to their dissatisfaction, are quick to cry foul and insult the author and his work. This is what worries me most about yaoi fans. But frankly, what are their expectations? In reality, life isn't as idyllic as they'd like it to be. A character who exchanges her body for money is simply doing a job, like anyone else. Prostitution is a profession in its own right, just like any other occupation, so yes, what Dan does can be considered work. He takes care of JK's Jinx, that's all. However, he's deluding himself.
Finally I met the right Jinxfan, like bruh.. Some readers are being mad and also fkn delusional too just bc Jaekyung doesn't show or barely show a single hit of "ROMANCE" or "AFFECTION" to Dan, they getting impatient mad. Let not be blind , this whole series until now, the author already indicate that Jaekyung doesn't give a fck about everything and only care about two single thing..

Frankly, you took the words right out of my mouth; fans tend to wrap themselves in illusions. It's undeniable that they will eventually be together, however, skipping steps for lack of patience only destroys the story completely. Such a move will present no logic; JK literally doesn't care about Dan and can't simply fall in love over a glass of booze. Dan must learn to respect himself in order to receive respect in return, but he's clearly disillusioned and a total masochist. For his part, JK is blinded by his ambition to always be the best.
Frankly, I don't understand those who perceive love or affection in JK's behavior.

From my POV, Andre and Duke Lorraine is not a powerful and smart combo.
So I don't understand why our main characters are having a hard time to deal with them.
and the fact they only mentioned the existence of spies in recent chapters are so dumb.
Like, I already guess there are spies when the first time they tried to vote Elle as punishment for failure to solve the murder cases ( I forgot what chapter).
Why no one question why the higher up so keen to remove Elle from her position?
Why did they only try to pursue the killer from one perspective?
Why don't they exchange information?
We were side tracked with their romance for so many chapters (that's the only satisfying part)
Where are the smart people in their side?
Why the don't utilize Morris? He is supposed to be the smart one?
Should I drop this?
I don't like both FL and ML, but I keep reading because I wanted to see how she outsmart the sister.
Unfortunately, both main characters are not the brainy, calculative type.
The ML is so stoic and inflexible, I don't think he contribute to anything other than wanting to "protect" FL.
I am so annoyed that the ML reject Princess Rebecca's offer to be Commander of the Royal Knights.
Like, that is obviously the best choice he had.
