It's about a guy who has a crush on his childhood friend or some guy he's know for a long time, and is really in love with him, but the other guy is weird (?)
He desperately wants MC to be straight and gets angry when mc hints at liking dudes, he has a girlfriend but still gives mc the special treatment and makes him jealous on purpose, he planted an earring like the ones the girlfriend wears in his apartment even though he's never allowed the girlfriend in, he's also really obsessive and overprotective of mc, even more then mc moved into college dorm and made friends with his roommate, ML hates the roomate

It's morbid curiosity, the thrill of reading something you see as "bad" and "immoral", at the end of the day you're still seeking it out.
I don't like ntr or cheating stories, so what do I do about them? Ignore them, they don't exist in my mind, if a character in a story I'm reading cheats, I drop the story and never look it up again, that's what not liking something actually is like.
Saying that, I love this author, it's never boring with them, I'm already at the edge of my seat to know what will happen next.
