Ah cuz the word Dowager is more of a "title" than a name. It refers to a window of someone high ranking or a current king's great-aunt or great-grandmother. The meaning could shift from country to country but that's its basic meaning I believe.

What if Louis isn't really the person Rafael (the weirdo covered in blood that's after Louis) wants but another look alike, it was most likely that Rafael was the one who drugged him that night and wanted to kill him too like the lady from the tavern, I'm saying this because it's kinda weird, if he really was after him romantically in a fucked up way, he (Louis) would be either the first or last victim.
Another thing that came into my mind is that possibly, after kidnapping Loius and getting him pregnant Rafael would have kept him chained somewhere and I'm just making myself hate him more, to which I say, GOOD.
