also I’m confused chapter 6 page 15 they’re talking about the kids getting good owners?? first they said adoption even so wtf is owners??
The universe is set in a dystopian world where slavery and human trade is normalized. The legal way to do things is through "adoption" basically tbey make sure the ppl they auction go to normal stable homes to be kids/spouses/etcc
What the mc hunts down are the ones that do things the illegal way, man that do black market trading of ppl that are often way too young and end up in the hands of messed up individuals
little shit with a step brother complex didn’t even fucking get scolded or punished just because she’s kid. and the teacher didn’t even actually do shit to her tf it was just her getting all sensitive for no reason??
Well, to any students POV the teacher seemed rude, strict and harsh. It wasn't for no reason, and nothing she did actually indicts 'punishment.' She and the others simply didn't show up to his class.
It's not like the teacher didn't do anything bad either, he's got a harsh personality from the start.
I'm not defending the girl or anything but it's not like she did anything inherently wrong, the teacher and her were just on opposite sides in a situation, and you're simply siding with who's POV we're following. (The teacher, mc)
