So could someone who was able to stomach this elaborate on the plot a bit? I usually don't like spoilers but in this case, it'll make or break whether I read this or not. So, what the hell happened to cause Brandon to go from 10 years of living with this guy taking care of him (like in the description above) to Andy mutilating and eating(?) him.
So basically when Andy was younger Brandon saved his life from a train. However as a results, Brandon was left injured and have epilepsy throughout the story you see I'm having episodes. Andy took care of him because his mother and sister left him. However his father, before disappearing, gave Brandon his keys to his apartment. Because of Brandon's state, he had difficulty getting a job, therefore Andy lent him a good amount of money. However as you can see, Andy has mental state problem since a child. Leading to him becoming a serial killer. I'm guessing throughout the years they've somehow grew to have a sexual relationship, but that's not the point. See, Andy probably felt indebted to Brandon, and that's why he treats him and pays for things throughout the years. Brandon on the other hand, got mixed up with the wrong crowd, and sold his drugs for his epilepsy to them.
Andy, being a crazy person, pretty much just said "yeah, okay, I'm gonna kill everyone who's ever mean to Brandon" and did just so. Eventually, the police begin to catch on, they try to arrest Brandon, but can't, cause there's no evidence. Andy pays his bail, kidnaps Brandon, and proceeds to rape him. When the detective comes over, he bashes him over the head, does a whole bunch of gross stuff, guts him, and then he tries to take a trip (I think). Probably to get rid of the evidence. However, Brandon was able to free himself, he tried to kill Andy, but instead, ran to a nearby police. The police mistaked Brandon for the assaulter, shot him in the leg. I'm guessing this triggered something in Andy (cause he kills whoever hurts Brandon) and he killed him. Brandon tried to get Andy to back away from him, but as a result, they both fell over a bridge onto railroad tracks. Parallels to how andy's life was saved by Brandon. However, this time, Brandon doesn't save him. However, a year later, Brandon is homeless, but comes home to a steak dinner (something that Andy would ask him often is "do you want steak or ribs for dinner?"). Terrified, he goes to the bathroom, where Andy drugs him. That's where the story ends
I can't wait for the update! I wanna see our cute mc get wasted! Idk who this purple/pink hair person is but if I see her I'll be sure to hate her! As for Mason...yum. I hope he wins Jimmy over at some point. His red eyelights (pun intended) are great accents to his hair! Keep up the great work Artist/Translator sama's!
OMG so much fun to read! I hope that Phantom and Hiromi get together and Phantom learns to accept and love Hiromi's male gender! I love this story! Keep up the awesome work artist and translator sama!
Gender is the social aspect of femininity and masculinity. And sex is the genetic aspect of male and female. Gender is socially constructed while sex is innate. Gender and sex is not the same thing.
The claim that sexuality is genetics is a myth. Scientist has only claim that there might be evidence of a gay gene and has never proven that the gay gene exist. Thus, sexuality is not bounded by one genetics.
Biologically speaking, both male and female has the sexual organs capable of performing homo and heterosexual intercourse. Meaning that both male and female are capable of reaching climax in both homo and heterosexual sex. Thus, sexuality is not limited by one's biology.
If sexuality is something that is innate, people will instinctively feel unattractive to the same or opposite sex regardless of their gender if they're heterosexual or homosexual respectively. But the fact that people don't instinctively and innately deny attraction of a person because of their sex is proof that sexuality is socially constructed.
Take for example a guy who's completely change their appearance cosmetically and surgically to look like an attractive girl. Unknowing that he is a girl, heterosexual guys who find him attractive will be attracted to him regardless of his sex.
To plainly put it, a person's attraction has nothing to do with sex. The deciding factor of attraction is personal taste.
Which leads to one's personal preference itself. When a person say that they're heterosexual, that doesn't mean that they'll feel attracted to anyone of the opposite sex. They have their own taste in people that they're attracted to. The same goes with homosexual.
Everyone has their own unique sense of attraction. And that is the sexuality. Like how people have their own unique sense of taste in food, in music, in art, and in opinion, sexuality is merely a product of that personal taste.
You make some very good points, but sexual attraction and human personality in general is far more complex than that. Environment, experience, genetics, and choices we make all influence who we develop into. We are more than the sum of our parts, but that doesn't change that the parts exist and have some meaning. Dismissing genetics as a factor is as equally false as saying genetics are the only factor.
Despite social constructs, attraction has always been a spectrum and not a binary choice. The latest research I've read doesn't support a "gay gene". Rather, everyone has genes that influence attraction to males and genes that influence attraction to females. In most people, these genes usually arrange with stronger attraction genes for the opposite gender and weaker attraction genes for the same gender.
I'm stopping myself from writing more on this, because otherwise I'd end up writing an entire paper here. Personally, I find the whole topic about how genetic predispositions influence personality fascinating. On the other side, I can see that people sometimes put too much weight in it's overall importance.
I state this again that sex is different from gender. Sex is determine by a person's genetic chromosome while gender is how a man or a woman should act. Sex is genetics while gender is socially constructed. Thus, it wouldn't make sense that there is a gene that makes people feel attracted towards the opposite GENDER if gender is socially constructed.
So, can we remove the Full Color BL tag from here? It's misleading if this isn't shonen-ai or yaoi
Well that still means 23 people still believe that this is BL, but it's not. No romantic boy x boy scenes are involved ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ No kissing and no "I love you in romantic way"
Those 23 people should edit their tags and delete it.
Wait This isn't Bl?
Nope, not at all
