One of the things that led up to this was rumors of Shuli and Jeremy actually being lovers (which was complete bullshit btw) , when those mf rumors started O'hara's family practically ingrained it into her head that she has to get rid of Shuli. O'hara only wanted to kick her out but wierd yandere priest guy and other mfs decided they should just kill Shuli off.
