i don’t know if you want to listen to someone with a yuri pfp but he seriously pissed me off too in the beginning but what made me stay was the complexity of their relationship and the growth. It’s toxic for sure but the story gets seriously heartbreaking as it goes on. I didn’t even want to continue because it just seemed like nothing was going to change i don’t know remember what plot points drew me in but man does this series have some solid chapters focusing on the teacher’s depression and healing process. So it might be hard to get through some chapters because of how heavy it is (depression, abuse from yuri’s dad, and self harm) please read at your own risk ! yuri does get better but it takes a while
