Hahaha. Hate to say this is true. But i think Ploy's insecurity was once again at play. She has this logic in her head that everything is her fault, that she messes up things. Perhaps she was hurt that SHE hurt Ice.
And once again... she messes up something.
So she had to walk away from that.
But walking away from Ice only gave Ice the impression that it was just sex for Ploy.

Does it really matter if it's short? I actually liked this chapter, showing explicit and long sex scenes here wasn't too necessary imo
It's annoying that we have to wait but think about it, the story is gonna be more interesting later on! Let the author take her time. ^ ^
