Firstly, the overtime this is more of a cultural difference. Overtime is the norm in Korea as well as office environments that would easily be considered toxic in other parts of the world. So yeah it's kinda weird translated because we don't really get the meanings in the same way.
Secondly, at the beginning of the manhwa they literally do bring up how weird the babe thing is. I think they do explicitly say to they let him do it because of his face. It's intentional.
