But No. you’ve got it wrong.This author’s purpose wasn’t to make it so that the coworker raping the MC was hot and kinky to turn on the audience. If you think about it, it’s not the kind of manga where he’s exposed to a whole bunch of guys that are greedy for him and want to do this kind of thing to him. And if anything usually it’s typically the partner that does the raping for “erotic appeal”
She definitely included this scene in order to showcase how victims of rape can feel and think after the situation has passed. She takes the victim into a shroud of guilt and believing it is his fault. Despite not having consented to the act, he believes it’s his fault that it happened to him especially since the perpetrator engraved it into his mind “you cheated on him and u felt good doing it” It showcases how difficult it is for victims of assault to speak about the truth of the situation due to guilt and brainwashing by the perpetrator saying “it’s your fault I did this to you”
The author put it in in order to give the main characters a challenge and drama to their relationship in order to highlight their true intentions towards each other later on.
I get what you mean but if you look at his expression and such you kinda don't get the "I get raped vibe" I guess it's legit to say cause he was dreaming of his bf a while ago but it kinda let's it get more into kinky stuff then the fact he di got raped-uhm maybe it wasn't her intention but it just gives people the fact he didt get raped while he did as you said included the truth behind what rape is and how it happens and how the victim feels
I think you’re just taking it the wrong way cuz “kinky rape” vibe isn’t what I got. I mean yes. The nature of this piece of work and how the author portrays her sex scenes as well as the very character itself is kinky...but ithat particular scene was not placed with the intention of romanticizing rape the way other works do so and the way you’re absorbing that scene.
The character himself is erotic and the author isn’t letting a sex erotic scene go by without it being erotic despite it being rape. However, The the main character also clarified in his thoughts that the ONLY reason why he was feeling it that much was BECAUSE he thought it to be his partner he was fucking asleep when he was being attacked!! But as soon as he realized that the person doing stuff to him wasn’t the dentist, he became horrified and disgusted. And making sure that the audience knows that all of this is done without his consent.
It’s a plot device that counts as a external and internal conflict for both MC characters and NOT something she put to romanticize rape.
Because of how wholesome and true the character’s feeling are towards his partner, people who read this would only sympathize with the main character and find the perpetrator disgusting for violating the MC’s feelings and clear disapproval of any sexual relations with this rapist coworker. He even verbally makes it clear that he doesn’t want anything happening between the two of them prior to them even entering the room.
I did not say a kinky rape scene-
I just normaly said his expression can let you feel like there is no rape (as people pick it up like that) and even after he awakened he had this kinda "horny" expression on compared to asada nemuis or Haradas work their expression won't match up to the rape fact and as I said you are completely right that the author does give you all the facts about rape of the victims get manipulated and feel disgusted the most disgusted at their selves and that they fell dirty as you can see Kater on in their part of arguing.
But the expression let it be more on the kinky side as in comparison like Haradas senses work or asada nemuis senses work (little Inferno is a good example) I am so just talking about this one scene after a while where was already awake from his dream and not about the arguing part

Idk if he one but his eyes were black and yellow glowing for a sec and he completely turned "animalistic" also that he acted like being in heat what authors use in either omegavers Mangas or Mangas where they are Humanoid animals (like animal Tails and ears) so it's just guessing (⌒▽⌒)
