yeah this is really good, at the end, they revealed their real PERSONAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA -----
It's not crazy to imagine a scenario where the victim becomes the victimizer, especially if their target is someone whom they either have a big feeling of grudge against or have something that could make them feel stronger. In this case, Seunghyun is BOTH of them. Nobody can ever deny that Yuta indeed drugged, kidnapped, and r4pe Seunghyun in the first chapters. Yuta did it to feel empowered, to humiliate him so deeply that he would never be able to forget him. Hell, Yuta has made very clear that it's his main goal. Was it fucking disgusting? Yes, of course it was. It doesn't matter if Seunghyun didn't keep up his word (we still don't know anything about what happened), because as I said, his main goal was nothing but to humiliate him.
With that being said, Seunghyun is just as much an abussive scumbag as Yuta and ALL the clients he was talking about. He also did it out of anger, to dehumanize him and to show dominance. Did he do it out of retaliation? Obviously. Does that excuse him? Of fucking course not. It just shows he is just as violent as an animal, he even compares himself to one. They are both violent, and it's pretty clear they are more than willing to use sex as punishment. At this point, this story is anything but love between two normal people. Both of them are terrible people trapped in a terrible situation where they torture each other until someone is down. That's it.
Personally, despite my tastes, I really like how Jo and Ian's relationship is evolving. Jo is oblivious of everything, literally everything. He is constantly exposed to a reality he doesn't know or understand. As much as Ian tries, he cannot escape who he used to be, despite wanting a second chance to be happy and to discover what he has been deprived of. Jo may say he's willing to give up everything for Ian to be by his side, but the anger and rage of not fully understanding him is what leads Jo to twist the way he sees not only Ian, but their relationship as a whole. The fact that TJ is no longer present does not mean that he is not relevant in Ian's life, because as long as he is constantly dragged into that violent world, he would still be connected to TJ since he is violence itself. Like -- omfg this can't get anymore poetic.
My only complaint is that Jo is acting like this for a man he quite literally just met like-- geez. chill tf That's why I prefer TJ (in essence, cause he is a concept at this point, barely appears lmao). But again, that's just my personal taste. Still, I LOVE this story
I didn't have the guts, but I finally read the whole story up to the last update. The result? My eyes are puffy, my face is red and I no longer have tissues at home. My therapist will know about this.

AYOOOOOOOO----!!!!! HOLD ON!!
it's over for me, but i'm still interested since this is already pretty popular. I'm officially hate-reading it
This shit is crazyyy
Dropped:
... holy shit
I just wanted to comment on how much trouble I had with the latest chapter but... I need to read the whole thing again, because the current discourse is making me realize that it was never as healthy as I remember.
For some reason, I liked the idea of Cheongrok genuinely not knowing who Jaekoo was a bit more than him being his secret fan the whole time. Still, it's a good story so far.
reaching new heights, i see the sky is the limit
The mixed feelings I had with the first couple only got worse the moment I read Hyun and Jaeha's story, to the point where I can confidently say how much I dislike their relationship and themselves as characters. No one is "responsible" for accompanying another person through such a draining and depressing process as Jaeha was going through, especially if it affects you personally or even goes so far as to become physical, as it did between him and Kiwoon.
However, as much as I agreed that the healthiest thing to do was to stop the relationship, the way Jaeha was antagonized in such a disproportionate way that it was ASSUMED without evidence that he killed a cat tasted so bad to me from the beginning. Jaeha was not like that for being a crazy psychopath, as he is referred to several times throughout the story, he was also a victim who had lost control of his life. The person who will stay with him had to truly care, because it's not easy and it's not fair to anyone to stay in a relationship where there is no genuine concern.
Jaeha needed help, not to hear that his problems were something they never wanted to be acknowledged or something that simply had to be reported to the authorities. The distancing was necessary for Kiwoon to heal, it was the right thing for both of them. However, some ways do not re-victimize an ALREADY known victim of domestic abuse, much less paint it as something to blame him for it.
Hyun, even though he gets tired of the situation, the moment he realizes who was the person in danger and who was crying out for help, he stops looking at everything that happened with Jaeha with disdain, to the point of giving up his selfish stance and being aware that there is someone who can't go through it alone. That's the kind of help he always should have had. Nothing justifies what Jaeha did, but the constant antagonizing of a profile like his does not allow for healing and never will.
I reallyyyyy don't care who is the healthiest choice, man. TJ has been THE best character in the entire plot. I wouldn't mind if Jo is endgame, but a part of me would feel like we've lost an amazing storyline if Ian stays with him
I didn't really like Omega Complex, in fact it kinda bored me. That's why I didn't expect to like this story, but I think it's mainly because of Dohyun. So far, he's been a unique protagonist omg I love it.
I can't believe how pissed off this chapter made me lmao I was literally fine, even having a good day wtf.
I hated this story the first time I read it, but now that I'm giving it a second chance.... I have to admit I liked how good and complex the relationships were. They still hurt, and I still got angry by then, but now I understand why all the things happened the way they did. I was probably reading it with my own biases before and just couldn't digest everything that was happening. It's not an easy story or characters to empathize with, but they don't always have to be that way.
I like Ian and Jo as much as the next person but TJ's character is sooo interesting that I wish this wasn't a love triangle. I don't want a """romantic""" (or whatever the hell they have going on) situation happening just to see him lmaooo Cause I know that as soon he is no longer part of the relationship he is GONE and I don't want that
Man, I love Woori. Can't wait to see how he is going to lose to an asshole <3
