Now THIS is what you call a plot!!

What I want is for Dan to take control of his life and JK to take control of his emotions. I want them to talk it out, work on their issues and move forward. Not in 2 chapters but hopefully throughout the rest of this season.

Health issues asides, I think authors go on long hiatus’s because they don’t know how to move the story forward. For this story specifically there are too many contradictory things happening at once and I don’t think they really know how they want to end the story. It’s kind of like they’re just writing everything and lowkey letting sm influence how they take the story because let’s be honest, this most recent development? Insane lmao

This started off really promising then it just kind of went off the rails. It started to drag a little in the 20s, then picked up and then it just changed genres? I’m still confused about what is actually happening and how we got to the end.

I didn’t like the brother before and now I really don’t. How are you acting like Zeo did something to cause your brother to runaway when it was your doing the entire time. This is why I can’t get behind “oh he just wants to protect his brother” because honestly I don’t think that’s his motivation. I would give it 15% at most and this conversation they just had proves it. I bet when the next chapter drops he’s going to be all high and mighty and Zeo is going to say something like “your brother is alone because of you how is that any different from what happened to you” or something like that.

That’s what I like to see. Tell him to kiss your ass!!

I’m so confused by Etiennes “plan” if you can even call it that. You have no allies. Well except for the servant, the doctor oh and also the person the King wants to take over and his closest allies but instead of relying on or making a solid plan with them you stick beside the empress who is poisoning you and is also responsible for countless deaths. You don’t want Rishar to be murdered but logic dictates that regardless of whether Rishar takes the throne or not, he’s still a threat and will be murdered. Keeping your relationship secret does nothing but put you at a disadvantage so again: WHAT IS YOUR PLAN?!

A whole chapter about getting a ride to work…what is going on? Is this a recurring theme?

Wow. They really spent a whole chapter having the same conversation. They did nothing but talk in circles. Back and forth back and forth. Oh my goodness

I really like this story but this latest chapter just rubbed me the wrong way. Based on the way MC has acted you would THINK that he would stick around to get answers like he did in the past but he just left. Didn’t he already say he was over what happened before and decided to move on with his life now? Not thinking about his accident or his life being “ruined”? His reaction only sets up a chasing arc and Im so tired of those.

I skip over the sex scenes. I’m only here for the plot.
