This manga ends at chapter 84 and yes, there was no progress with the story for awhile. I read this manga last year, so I’m sorry if not all this is accurate. FL and Hayato do start dating, but mf Takato ofc gets in the way and does shit to make Hayato feel unconfident (Hayato quits volleyball since Takato told him that he kissed FL before). Not long after the shit with Takato, Hayato finds out that he has to move overseas to America since his parents are being employed over there and FL begs him not to go. FL lost her memories from when this dude named, Ouji, who has a similar voice as Hayata. During the school festival, FL is kidnapped by Ouji (Ouji likes her btw) and they jump from the school roof. Hayata was able to catch her even if it meant dislocating his shoulder, but FL has amnesia from that point on WHERE THE ONLY PERSON SHE FORGETS IS HAYATA. Hayata moves to America (he left things undone) and ofc Takato takes advantage of this situation to get with FL again. After years, FL helps a foreign kid on the street and once that kid goes to his relative, that relative is Hayata and Hayata was hoping for FL to make a move on him, but ofc FL doesn’t and regrets it. I don’t remember much after this, but I know that FL and Hayata do talk to each other about shit related to FL’s amnesia. FL hopes that Hayata moved on from her and tells him that she loves Takato (lmfao so dumb). It turns out part of the reason why FL still can’t really remember Hayata is cuz of his voice. While Hayata was in America, his throat got fucked up from a house fire which causes his voice to be permanently different. Eventually, FL remembers a previous conversation with Hayata and realizes that she still loves him, not Takato. Hayata also finds out that there are 2 FLs (she returned to her old middle schools self after once the amnesia shit happened) and goes to Ouji since Ouji is the one behind FL’s feelings since Ouji was the one who jumped off the roof with her during that one school festival. Ouji has a brain tumor or some shit, so Hayato goes to the hospital he’s staying at, ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT FL IS ABOUT TO JUMP FROM THAT HOSPITAL’S ROOF. Thankfully, Hayata was able to stop FL and after some serious talk about trusting each other and shit, they get back together. At the end, Hayata and FL are at a flower garden in Montana and have a happy ending.

Damn I thought this was good. Like Iv read like 20 or so chapters and I liked it. Like the main reason I read this was because hayato played volleyball. Now I don’t know if I should reread it

.... ughh that make me sad, that at the beginning it has such a good plot & now if it drag on like what you’ve said then reading it would only get me irritated of the FL. (╬￣皿￣)凸 & ty for going over the story again.

After reading this i feel like this manga is a shitty mess. I also don't get why everybody needs to like her like is there nobody else in this worl to love
