I’m reading this because I read “Killing Stalking” and I loved it. It was a very well done psychological thriller story, and I seriously admire Koogi’s work and art. Her storytelling is amazing, and she really knows how to make you feel all the right emotions that she wants to convey. I felt them again this time in just chapter one of her new work: fear, anger, anticipation, and overwhelming pity.
I like the concept so far, it’s very different from most manhwas, even though it’s a zombie theme. I love zombie concepts in any media, so I’m really excited. I’m already hooked on the story, and I’m going to keep reading.
Side note: I’ve been in MC’s shoes before, and I just feel so much pity for him. He seems like he’s trying really hard to be good, and I genuinely hope he succeeds, but knowing Koogi… I think he’s in for a world of even more pain.
Also: I hope that traitorous woman that is his wife gets turned first. Is she pregnant, or am I just misunderstanding something? Because he said she had dipped a few months ago, and her side piece said to be careful “at this stage”. If so, that’s even more insane. Koogi truly knows how to pull at the heartstrings.
I hope this eventually gets as famous as KS because I know I’m going to love it! I’m already planning to buy physical copies in my head, just like I did KS.

Theory 1: Guwon is actually Sisyphus from the underworld. The disasters happening, the dead coming back to life. If you don’t know the story of Sisyphus, basically he was cursed to torture in the underworld, forced to push a giant boulder uphill for eternity. Read it, it’s pretty neat.
Theory 2: Guwon is a hound (?) from the underworld. Like a hellhound. Maybe that’s why he doesn’t understand a lot of human things? Unlikely, but I’m just brainstorming.
Theory 3: Something happened in the underworld to cause a rift in the human world, hence the disasters and undead walking. Guwon then traveled to that human world, but when he did that, he lost his memories and couldn’t remember about his life. Or something else caused him to lose his memories. OR, he is lying about losing his memories and doesn’t want to reveal his true identity for multiple reasons: afraid of losing Jinwoo’s trust? Etc.
Other: When it comes to human relationships, Guwon seems very… innocent. Pure, in a way. His appearance isn’t, but his mannerisms and personality seem quite naive and unassuming. It’s almost as if he doesn’t quite know how to take in information, or how to express his feelings. Or even knowing what some feelings are. I.E. taking off his rings for Jinwoo, showing Jinwoo the moon. I could be wrong, but I love his character so much right now.
I have a feeling, though, that Guwon is actually more evil than we think. Or at least has done some bad things, judging by how he was looking for a reason to save Jinwoo in the beginning, and he only saves people that he deems worthy since they can all offer something useful. So far, whatever/whoever is really is, I believe he’s connected to the undead and the disasters, and I believe he came to the human world from the underworld.
Other Pt. 2: I love this manhwa. Also, I wouldn’t mind if either of them topped, but I think it’s Guwon.

I like these theories a lot, to add on to some of them, i think since all the people in the village are scared of him maybe it's because he is someone powful from the underworld and they came with him and he lost his memories OR since he's from the underworld he's just neaive of the real world and they all know he's scary and some underworld leader, or even he's shown his true self to these people for whatever reason and they know. I find it werid how scared they are of him so somethings Def up. Maybe something went wrong and that's why all the dead came back to life and they're there to figure out.

These theories are really good but I'm just wondering why jinwoo is having these dreams of guwon than waking up and not remembering what was real and what was a dream. Do you know if this could be a coincidence or a part of his powers as a creature from hell (ofc assuming that your theories are correct)

I never actually stopped to think about why the townspeople are so intimidated by him because I just assumed it was because he looks big and bad. Like, he just seems like a strong, intimidating guy, and he seems to have a dominant personality. But it’s true that maybe they know more than they let on. Right now though I don’t have any specific ideas because the manhwa is so new…

That’s actually happened to me a few times where I wake up not knowing if something was a dream or real for a while, so I’m not usually surprised when that happens in manhwas. But I’d wager it’s possible that Guwon does have some sort of power if he’s from the underworld, or if he’s Sisyphus. I don’t really know anything for sure though so I can’t wait to find out.

This is great. I know it’s a BL, but I’m already obsessed with the universe and the story. I want to learn about Guwon and what exactly he is (because come on, I don’t think he’s human or fully human). Where did he come from? Why are all the undead and disasters happening? I like the MC too. He seems very conflicted about his sexuality and his past. Man, I won’t be surprised if this ends up getting published into physical copies in the future. I hope the fandom for this grows, because I’m already obsessed. Genuinely can’t wait for this to blow up in popularity as more people get to read this.
Side note: Guwon’s cluelessness is so cute and endearing. Giving major gentle giant vibes, but only for MC.
I know this isn’t a BL (…right?), but Sungheon and Jerry need to fuck YESTERDAY. I know I can be delusional, but does nobody else feel that there’s some kind of tension between them, even a thin kind? The way they look at each other… I’m squealing. They’re also just… beautiful. Obviously.
Okay, other stuff: Ms. Rosette, JB, and his doormat of a mother need to die ASAP. Not sure why this orange bitch is treating Sungheon this way over her son, other than she’s racist or something.
Theory: I can’t even come up with something because, like… The virus seems to have originated in the Safari exhibit, and the test subject captured had werewolf-y arms, and he worked with the wolves… Also the loud noise and smoke. Not even sure what to make of this right now, but I admire Koogi’s mind so I’m trusting the process fully and faithfully.
* I’m very happy with the disability representation in this manhwa. Sungheon and Reggie, potentially more to come.
I truly feel for Sungheon. Poor guy is being flung every which way and isn’t fluent in English, I can’t imagine the confusion, frustration, and mistrust, especially after the first person you met screwed you over so terribly. (*cough* I suspect we will meet Mr. Brony in a future chapter) Maybe I’m a tiny bit biased and trying to save face a bit, but I know that in reality, Americans are generally so much more understanding than some of these wack ass characters that have been interacting with Sungheon, even though there are bound to be ignorant people all over the world. Still, these scenarios he finds himself in could very well happen.
