Best description of this is stockholm syndrome, pretty fucked up.
Based on my interpretation since translating was scuffed, but basically I think mc and ml were friends in Highschool, mc was having some sexuality crisis so he made his friends rape the ml which was done apparently because of some coping mechanism, but afterwards ml life gets ruined.
Fast forward to a time skip which takes place in the events of chapter 1 where he drugs mc for I guess revenue.
mc throughout the story kind of had a character development, considering in the beginning of the novel he had anger issues, but afterward his personality which best I can describe it is being 'timid'
Which I'm pretty sure he became like that because ml held him captive in one room without being able to leave or any social interaction for a profound time period. Which again brings us to stockholm syndrome again.
The fact that I'm reading this even though I know it's toxic/fucked up, and messy asf...

I am getting Nevermore flashbacks with mf James, I would have never guessed Seju (Yakuza) would be the uke if I never read the comments probably because of that once scene where that dude was sucking him off it gave seme vibes, anyways I guess appearently there will be a timeskips so it might be more obvious that he won't be the seme anymore.
I think Taegu is the better ML choice, like this man from what I can tell is willing to do almost anything for Yeongwoon, and not just that's he's also hot asf.
And the scene where he wore the watch Yeongwoon was really cute.
Like there should be really no competition, since there's such an obvious winner. I mean sorry to Seo-in and Hae-yool, but Taegu sweeps, he should be endgame.

This one seems fine since I believe based on the cover there is a time skip involved before shit happens.
The only thing is that ML reminds him of his dead sister, so I don't know where the plot will go given that.
No joke, I'm pretty sure Arjen is getting neglected, like literally I'm for certain they all favor Arien, anyhow I find it unfair of his treatment, I mean they could have atleast given Arjen a love interest near the end. I probably would have been more into that romance side story then Arien and her Guardian Epilogue story or whatever.
But my biggest complaint is the misleading title like it obviously is more focused on Arien she's even more 'special' then him.

Yeongwoon NOOO I feel like Seo-in was right like grow a pair in times like these I wish ML was Taegu instead, another case of second ML syndrome. Taegu didn't even have a lot of screen time and he's already better, that's telling tbh.
