What Aeroc did in the past is inexcusable but he still took credibility for it, he never blamed anyone, not even Clough. He even experienced it himself, saying as his "punishment". I already forgive Aeroc for realizing his wrong doing but he should not have to experience this type of cruel death, no one should have.
Clough should have expected that outcome, he's not taking credibility, even today he's still blaming Aeroc for how life turned out when he could've handled things better. Martha is a bitch, she should've known that will happen when she and Clough separated Aeroc from his children.
