Truthfully I’m not a fan of the story its very cliche, plot is boring and predictable also the characters are annoying but if you just wanna read a story to get mad at the characters then this story is worth it.
I think it is worth it. If just to see where the heck it's going haha.
Also I don't agree that the MC is that bad. She's doing her best in some pretty tricky and complex situations. Does she always do the most rational things? No. But...is she doing her best? Yes.

There is a story a little similar to this. In that story the seme torture uke severely (rap him, drag him, break his ankle, whip him etc etc bc uke was constantly trying to run away from him) then the uke couldn't take it anymore. Nd destroy a part of the palace amd died. Then the seme(the emperor) promised that in thier next birth he wouldn't do any of those thing. He wouldn't hurt the seme. Cz he didnt know any other way to keep him by his(seme's) side, so he did thoss.
Nd they reincarnate again. Nd the story goes on.
