Those who have read the translated version, what exactly did Kusakabe meant when he’s been waiting for Sajou? waiting for what? I’ve tried to reread it but i’m still unsure about what he meant. https://chibisunnie.tumblr.com/post/189752631224/blanc-ch-8-translation
A better translation would be:
S: “Sorry... for saying something weird”
S: “(I mean) introducing you as my bf”
S: “right now we are...”
K: “You know, uhm”
K: “For me, always”
K: “It has always been that way.”
K: “I will be waiting(*)”
*the tricky part here is Kusakabe said 待ってる, which can be translated as either “I will be waiting” or “I have been waiting”. There’s no indication of who or which he’s waiting for. Chibi Sunnie translated it as “I have been waiting for you (your answer/your coming back)”. My translation means Kusakabe is telling Sajou to take his time with his family, because they need him rn; he will be waiting for Sajou as he has always been doing (it’s a continuation of the previous sentence). Really, it’s up to how we want to understand so there’s no “correct” translation unless we can consult Nakamura herself ( ̄∇ ̄")
omg i thought no one’s gonna rely to this comment, but ty so much! i was so worried (▰˘◡˘▰)
